In 2018, Mechatronic Solutions celebrated 30 years of developing automation solutions for our clients. In this time, we’ve come a very long way and evolved our style of business.
Where It All Began
Back in 1988, we made machines to match the client’s specification. It was a simple concept which worked well – just building great automation and delivering to order.
Then came Kaizen, a way of working which revolutionised the development process.
Kaizen is a specific methodology based on the Japanese word kaizen, which means “change for better”. Kaizen is a lean manufacturing tool that improves processes and products, quality, productivity, safety and workplace culture; by focusing on small, daily changes that result in significant improvements over time. Kaizen drives continuous improvement.

So now our service and maintenance packages are designed with the ultimate flexibility and support. Clients can purchase credits which enable access to a range of options.
The concept of Servitization pulls it all together in the concept of adding value at every step of the process with the objective of delivering services and value way beyond machinery.
Being a world-class ‘maker of machines’ is still obviously our prime activity – but our vision is to be a complete and totally comprehensive service provider; adding value for our clients by shifting our attention to helping them achieve the best possible results from working in partnership with Mechatronic Solutions.
