Mechatronic Production Systems Ltd has passed the latest ISO 9001:2015 1-day surveillance audit with flying colours.
The audit took placed during September 2019 and included a site visit to a major client to review project management in an external location – in addition to a series of checks and reviews at Mechatronic’s own premises.
No Follow-Up Required
The report highlighted no ‘non-conformance’ issues, showing high quality/management standards throughout. No actions or changes have been stipulated or required as a result of the visit and there is no follow-up until the next surveillance audit, which has been scheduled for September 2020.
The report congratulated Mechatronic on its systems, leadership and communication, saying:
“Organisational context was clearly explained, and reinforced throughout this visit. Leadership and communication at all levels is clear. This was evidenced through discussion with various personnel during this surveillance visit.
“The System policy has been written and communicated at director level and throughout the business. The top Management Teams role in improving processes to reduce errors and make improvements was very evident from the discussions held – risk reduction and opportunities for improvements in service and efficiency.
“The client’s processes are closely monitored, Targets are generally achieved, and any deficiencies reviewed during the clients management meetings. Customer focus is very evident.
“Documentation viewed, people interviewed and processes observed, from the samples selected, demonstrate that the company meets the ISO9001:2015 requirements, especially context, leadership, processes, measurement, and risk awareness and mitigation.
“No Non-Conformances have been identified during this audit.”
The report concludes:
“The processes of the company are effective and continual certification to the ISO9001:2015 Standard is recommended.”
The visit to the client site explored how Mechatronic’s own processes impact the delivery to the engineers involved in using the equipment supplied. The report noted high levels of satisfaction:
“…the customer has purchased several robotic machines from Mechatronic / Robopod and are very happy with the equipment and service received.
“Client and Customer were working very well as a team to ensure the project was completed effectively”
“We are delighted with the results of this audit – excellent news!
“The team work very hard to pursue high quality standards throughout, but even so, a ‘clean’ report with no issues, actions or non-conformances is very unusual and a real commendation of everyone’s work.
“I am exceptionally proud of the team and thank them all for their assistance.”
